Coalins
In "Agent Coalins: Barbecue Mission," you help a small piece of charcoal accumulate heat to ignite the barbecue!
In this game, which is between a platformer and a runner, you use thermal vision to guide Agent P. Coalins onto the right platforms and through traps so he can accumulate as much heat (and therefore speed!) as possible. But be careful, the goggles activate and deactivate at the same time as the jump, so you’ll need to be strategic!
There is only one button here: the SPACE key, which allows Agent P. Coalins to jump from platform to platform while activating and deactivating thermal vision. Get the highest score and share it with your friends!

This game was made for the Mini-Jam #162, which theme was "Heat" and the constraint "One Button, Two Actions."
It is the first time the BYN'R team has come together to create a game! Our primary goal was to have fun while discovering the various tools that permitted us to develop the game, so we divided the roles based on each person's affinities and talents:
- Laloney took care of all the pixel art with Aseprite, with the help of sketches by Niatack.
- Rasenti came up with the basic gameplay elements and level design and tested the game.
- Youle worked hard on Unity to code the game and contributed to the game page designs.
- Botling worked hard on both Unity for the code and Rythmik Ultimate for the soundtrack.
- Nere coordinated the team by structuring ideas and progress, and tested the game as well.
Thanks to MiniJam for creating this opportunity, and thank you for all your feedback!
Have fun playing, and watch out for the heat!

The mood is great and fun but I think the concept isn't polished enough: where's the strategy in seeing that all the ten future platforms are cold and understanding that I'm going to lose speed whatever I do? It feels like this is more about luck than strategy.
I'm sure there's a really cool game hidden here, I hope you'll find the time to work on it 👏
Love the music, the cat, the background and the idea of heat vision ! GG <3
Tell everybodyyy I’m on my way 🎤🎵
